Val Easton

Val Easton’s garden column, “Plant Life” appears weekly in the Seattle Times’ Pacific Northwest magazine along with her feature articles on the region’s most creative gardens. She is the author of Artists In Their Gardens (Sasquatch, 2001), Plant Life: Growing a Garden in the Pacific Northwest (Sasquatch, 2002) and is hard at work on her latest publication, A Pattern Garden (Timber Press, 2006).  She has been a host of HGTV’s “Grow It” program and her garden has been featured on the “Victory Garden” program.  She is a regional editor for Horticulture magazine, on the Board of the Miller Botanical Garden and on the Editorial Board of the Arboretum Foundation’s Bulletin magazine.  Her former Lake Forest Park garden has been featured in a dozen magazines, including Fine Gardening, Horticulture and Better Homes & Gardens.
