Phil Wood

Phil Wood is the owner of Phil Wood Design, and landscape design firm in Seattle.  He is a garden columnist for the Seattle Times.  He is a former member of the Arboretum Foundation Board of Directors.  He earned his Landscape Architecture degree from the University of Washington and a bachelor of fine arts in sculpture from the Cornish College of the Arts.  He is a member of the Association of Professional Landscape designers and has been a speaker for Bainbridge in Bloom, the Sequim Lavender Festival, the Northwest Perennial Alliance, and many other organizations and events. Over the years he has designed 10 display gardens for the Northwest Flower & Garden Show.  His gardens have won many gold medals and are always a crowd favorite.
