Northwest Flower & Garden Show

Peter E. Punzi

Peter Punzi is probably best known for his weekly gardening Q&A in the Tacoma News Tribune’s Saturday ‘Soundlife’ section and his TV gardening segments on Comcast Cable. Peter came to the Puget Sound region eight years ago to be the director of Lakewold Gardens (Lakewood) after completing his M.S. in Public Horticulture from the University of Delaware and Longwood Gardens (Kennett Square, PA). His focus now is as a garden communicator working as a garden consultant, teaching and lecturing to local garden clubs, garden shows and colleges.  His latest book, American Horticulture Society’s SmartGarden Guide to the Northwest (DK Publishing) was released in August 2003. He gardens at “The Punzi Grange,” his home in Lakewood, Washington. Website: www.HorticultureGuy.com.
