Northwest Flower & Garden Show
Linda McDonald
Linda McDonald is a practicing psychotherapist who took up gardening as a means of relaxing, her own form of therapy. Soon she developed her own addiction – plants! Her “Valhalla Garden” in Kenmore is well known for it’s collection of rare and unusual plants, in bold combinations, artfully arranged. She spent years studying plants before embarking on the transformation of her garden. She successfully winters over her impressive collection of tender plants, and recently taught a class at Edmonds Community College horticultural program on tropical plants. Her garden was featured by Val Easton in Pacific Northwest magazine in June, 2005.
